- He has worked as an orthodontist for over 15 years and was the first to apply several novel technologies in Hungary; an expert in several internationally new procedures.

- invisible orthodontics with lingual braces (lingual technique) and, in that area, the first to apply novelties like the very comfortable Incognito appliance
- invisible orthodontics using the Invisalign appliance
- invisible orthodontics using the MTM and Clear Aligner appliances
- a novel technology called “Damon technique”, i.e. „Low friction orthodontics”. Dr Hermann is the first to apply this novelty and regularly delivers presentations on the topic
- A member of the American Association of Orthodontists and of other Hungarian and international organisations.

- He opened his private orthodontics clinic in 2006 under the name “HermannOrtho Professional Orthodontics”.
